DESCRIPTION:Get your hands dirty as we explore the fascinating world beneath our feet! Students will investigate soil layers, discover how clay forms, and examine the important role soil plays in supporting plants and ecosystems.\nHomeschool Workshops offers families a guided classroom experience investigating the connections found among nature, science and art. Each focuses on Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as well as crosscutting concepts led by a certified Georgia science educator.\n\nAudience: Families with Children ages 7 – 12, students under the age of 7 will not be allowed to participate in workshops. Registration price includes all materials.\nOne adult per child is free of charge.
