A suite with a spacious bedroom, gathering room, and Victorian bathroom create space for rest and relaxation. Wraparound porch seating, yard swing for 2, patio with a canopy of ancient pecan and oak trees are peaceful settings. Centrally located in the foothills of N. Georgia mountains near hiking, wineries, approx. 10 miles from Dahlonega, Cleveland, and Gainesville and 15 miles to Helen. Short drives to Hiawassee, Blairsville, Blue Ridge Mtns. Keep one busy site seeing by day and relaxing night.
The space
This is a fully restored 101-year farmhouse that makes you feel at home at Grandma’s house. High ceilings, stained glass, antique furnishings, the large oak mantel in the bedroom, with modern features of Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, coffee maker. Queen bed for a good night’s sleep, Clawfoot tub for bath or shower, antique vanity. And… There will always be a homemade cookie jar and a fresh loaf of goodness each morning. There is a private lock on the door and a key to front door access. We want to provide a home away from home for our guests from greeting you at the door to waving goodbye!
