Enjoy a perfect getaway for a couple, friends or individual! Private entire level terrace/level walkout apartment in the main house on our secluded and peaceful deep-water cove. Beautiful and comfortable place for romantic weekend.
Unplug, relax and recharge at the less crowded top of the lake with morning yoga or evening cocktails, or both! Kayak, paddleboard, float, sunbathe on the dock, or read.
Make a daytrip to Gainesville Square, the Dawsonville outlet mall, historic Dahlonega, Helen, Amicalola Falls, or an area sporting event.
The entire lower level of main house has 12 foot ceilings and windows across the entire wall overlooking the lake! The space includes one very large bedroom with California king Tempur-Pedic mattress, full bath, media room with big screen and regular TV, large kitchen equipped with refrigerator, large microwave, air fryer, hot plate, and dishwasher, but no stove. Full deck and patio right outside with a gas grill and private fire pit! 60 steps to the lake and the dock which you can see from every room.
The apartment has it’s own separate entrance, but also there are interior stairs leading to the main house. The door at the top of the stairs is locked and bolted and will remain so throughout your entire stay. This door access is ONLY for in between guest visits for cleaning and laundry service, and a bolt is provided if you prefer to lock from your side as well.
Guests have access to a large double deck dock on deep water cove, sometimes shared with us but usually not on the weekends. The fire pit, outdoor deck and patio and grill are exclusively yours.
Other things to note:
Bring beach towels and sunblock! There are lots of steps to the dock-the house is on a big hill so good footwear is recommended.
We have paddleboards, a canoe and various floats to share… and life jackets in many sizes-this is deep water with big wake sometimes so be safe. If you plan to bring/rent a boat or jet skis let me know in advance-need your proof of insurance please.
