Lanier Islands Resort and the Georgia Mountain Food Bank are giving back to our community through a FREE Summer Concert Series at Peachtree Pointe at Lanier Islands Resort. Enjoy a season of live music set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Lanier—under the stars, and for a good cause.
About the Show
Atlanta singer Greg Hester recreates the aura of Van Morrison onstage with all of the joy of the diminutive Irish giant at his best. It’s Van Morrison as you know him in your heart!
You’ll thrill to the kicks, shouts and struts, as well as the classic stage presence of the Belfast Cowboy. Rock, R & B, Soul with a hint of Country…hit song after hit song.
Greg Hester catches all the nuances of Van the Man as he roars through the best of his amazing song catalog..
Expect selections such as “Domino,” “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Moondance,” “Tupelo Honey,” “Into The Mystic,” “Wild Night,” “Have I Told You Lately” and so many other classics. “I was having surreal flashbacks playing with these guys,” former Van Morrison keyboardist Mark T. Jordan. “A great singer with a great band!”
