Introductory Bonsai Workshop

Bonsai is a unique blend of art and horticulture that is appreciated around the world, and this beginner class, led by Zach Adamz of Komorebi Bonsai, will explore techniques and styles of bonsai. During an introductory bonsai styling demo, students will participate in an interactive Q+A to learn the nuances of bonsai appreciation, cultivation and creation. We will cover the basics of pruning, wiring and care. Each participant will be given a tree of their own to begin bonsai! As Zach makes rounds to assist with questions, give suggestions, and provide encouragement on pruning decisions, each student will have one-on-one time to transform their tree from an ordinary plant into a bonsai!

This introductory bonsai workshop is beginner-friendly. All necessary materials provided. Instructed by Zach Adamz of Komorebi Bonsai, Oxford, Mississippi.
